Sigiriya –Polonnaruwa
This morning visit Sigiriya Rock fortress, climb this 200m high UNESCO world heritage stated rock dating back to the 12th Century. Take in the incredible view on the top of the rock. While climbing up the spiral staircase, take your time to see the famous painting. In the afternoon, proceed to Polonnaruwa medieval capital of Sri Lanka; explore the remarkable ruins and statues. Sigiriya - Kandy
This morning after breakfast, we leave for Kandy sightseeing, if interested, en-route visit Matale Kovil. Visit (Sri Dalada Maligawa) Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, the palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy which houses the relic, the tooth of the Lord Buddha. Kandy was the last capital of Sri Lankan Kings and is a World Heritage Site. After exploring the temple you will be checked in to the Kandy hotel. Kandy – Colombo
After breakfast, travel back to Colombo for guided tours of the city, explore the colonial building around the fort, visit Pettah floating market, impressive Gamgarama temple overlooking the lake and enjoy ice cream on the popular Galle face beach front or take quick glance at the shopping bazaar in Galle face hotel, one of the oldest hotels in Sri Lanka founded in 1864.
